Sad News Mick Mcintrye Ormskirk

Just heard from Jean, Mick McIntrye partner that he's drowned while on holiday with Jean in Australia couple weeks ago Mick originally lived in Ormskirk and was one of Pete Lawsons very close friends Mick was one of the pallbearers at Petes funeral along with myself Dave Molloy and Mel ,he moved to Leigh several years ago and lived just down the road from me a really nice bloke who would do anything for anyone Mick will be greatly missed a true soul.. I will post any details when Jean lets me know

Thanks Chalky I use to love meeting up with Mick in Town or at my place over the past few years reminiscing about the good old days of Northern Soul back in the 70,s and what we got up to with Pete & Co I've been left with some really fantastic memories and he will be missed greatly by me..

i never knew the man but its always saddens me when one of us passes under any circumstances ! my condolences jean and best wishes from the northeast crew R.I.P MICK MATE.
