(might eve be always comes to lightwater). so Chocolate birthday cake it is then home made by Moldie.. Moldie don't put candles on it you will only over do it and upset her... Link to comment

It's a shame Tony Elllis wasn't on a bit later downstairs, though - he played a lot of great records that most people only caught while coming in and bevvying up. As always, I can unreservedly recommend Lightwater to anyone who's reading this and hasn't been yet. Good music, good people and good beer have always been something I've enjoyed associating with and it's one do that - unlike a great many higher profile dances - has all three in abundance. Here's to the next one! TONE Link to comment

Soulsmith
Well I had an excellent night. What a bunch of friendly people we have at Lightwater. Thanks to Moldie for organising it. But if you want some constructive critiscm, here it goes. Northern Upstairs - not that I spent much time there, but I thought it was a bit oldies orientated. Too much like Bisley. Modern Downstairs - Loads of new stuff, but some of the stuff played later in the night was a bit on the slow side. Although Maxines last spot was on whole excellent. Appreciate that earlier in the night its all a bit backgroundy stuff. But the dance floor emptied every time a slow record was played. Don't shoot the messenger..... Link to comment
