The level of misinformed hyperbole on here makes John Manship sound good.

here are a couple of snippets that made me smile -

Who does not know The Bee Gees? This band gave birth to disco with their funky tunes that invaded the playlists of every nightclub in the world.

Yes of course, now I know where disco came from !!!!

Long John Baldry — The Drifter

This GREAT Uk Singer Is Revered In Germany For The Talent He Is Its Time We Recognized It,

The late LJB is and has always been recognised as the Doyen of British R&B, He was a pioneer and was instrumental in the careers of many artists - Rod Stewart, Elton John, Jack Bruce, Charlie Watts, Brian Jones, Mick Jagger, Julie Driscoll - the list goes on. Perhaps it is just the writer of this drivel who has not recognised the great mans talent until now.

Nobody has said they have had a problem with anything they've bought from them...just talking about some prices and descriptions

just got a festivals on collosus for a fiver from him..mint unplayed ...cheapest on ebay .ive done many deals over the years and i cant fault them......its true when they first get new stock in there usually at o.t.t. prices....but sometimes someone actually buys them and when thats your business thats what counts i suppose..the only guys that make johns blurb look amateurish...that said i can see the humour in whats been said here. they are fair game as anyone is

I've mentioned this many times before - The best 'tongue in cheek' descriptions of records I can remember were Rudzi's from Boogaloo Records......also from Leicester.....is it something about that part of the country? Because they're all blo*dy good at it! :D

All the best,

Len
