I think the condition was quite poor for Manship auction VG+

Has a bunch of these turned up? Noticed that Shifty had it on his latest list for £75 (but I missed it... ) which seemed very cheap.

Agree with you Mick and assume the condition must have reflected the price as, and as you state, Manships auction are not known for the chance to pick up a bargain.

i don't think they've turned up. shifty rung me when i was in canada while he was in detroit where he found it, he asked me what it was worth, i told him 150quid, so i don't know why he sold it for 75 i think you'll find the one on ebay at the moment is probably the one purchased off shifty.

it used to be 300+, but the funk scene is fickle, and when records are reissued the price of originals dumps.

still a rare and desirable soul record in my book though.

I'd imagine if you found a 'normal priced one' then it would be a miracle as nothing seems to be normal priced to me these days :-))))))

Last one on e-bay went for $2900 and if I remember rightly it was a mint one.
