October 14, 200420 yr Herb Johnson Settlement - Damph F'Aint - Toxan £ 212 Has a bunch of these turned up? Noticed that Shifty had it on his latest list for £75 (but I missed it... ) which seemed very cheap. Edited October 14, 200420 yr by Sebastian
October 14, 200420 yr THE EDDIE CAMPBELL SEEMS A LITTLE CHEAP TO ME-I WONDER IF THE TOP BIDDER GOT THE RECORD. NOT VERY OFTEN WE SEE BARGINS ON THIS AUCTION BUT THIS IS. link Agree with you Mick and assume the condition must have reflected the price as, and as you state, Manships auction are not known for the chance to pick up a bargain.
October 14, 200420 yr Agree with you Mick and assume the condition must have reflected the price as, and as you state, Manships auction are not known for the chance to pick up a bargain. link that's not entirely true, what about that lucky chap who got Gayle Adams? October 14, 200420 yr Has a bunch of these turned up? Noticed that Shifty had it on his latest list for £75 (but I missed it... ) which seemed very cheap. link i don't think they've turned up. shifty rung me when i was in canada while he was in detroit where he found it, he asked me what it was worth, i told him 150quid, so i don't know why he sold it for 75 i think you'll find the one on ebay at the moment is probably the one purchased off shifty. it used to be 300+, but the funk scene is fickle, and when records are reissued the price of originals dumps. still a rare and desirable soul record in my book though.
