Otis Jackson and The Compromisers is on C&F and The Captions on Kayham. Not sure if you are aware they are two different recordings Paul of the same recording.  The smoother Captions is the one I prefer.  Otis Jackson probably better for playing out.

Thanks for the info I didn't realise it was 2 versions, just heard it played on Saturday night and wanted it! Now sorted!

Captions all the way for me

Otis Jackson for me...for dance ability and grittiness. The captions is top notch and rips you apart but don't know about anyone actually dancing to it.

BTW. Did you know that Otis Jackson is the father of Madlib the very talented rapper and that both nearly died in the 80s when they were attacked by a mob racists? Jus sayin!
