jocko
Dalton James & Sutton Run Baby Run. Apart from the fact its a total male vocal, it fits the bell perfectly, and he was playing it last couple of years. Awful record that used to have me running for the dance floor in my young days. Guest stationroad
Just noticed that the track I was curious about was Peter Jarett, as Eddie Hubbard pointed out 2 years ago. Edited January 12, 2016 by stationroad ? Link to comment Social source share

Sounds rubbish now, but that guitar blasting out on the Casino speakers did sound good at the time! First heard it in 1974 at the Casino. Nope. RS spin first. I sold it to him along with Nightwatch ABC on same night at Wigan. I trust you're not denigrating our joint soul credentials there, Peter. Questioning our sanity perfectly acceptable. ROD 1 Link to comment Social source share
Guest stationroad
Thanks for your input here Rod, my memory is obviously not too good. Edited January 12, 2016 by stationroad ? Link to comment Social source share
Modernsoulsucks
No problem re info. And to be completely accurate RS also bought Reparata and Delrons "It's waitin' there for you" at the same time. Does irritate sometimes that there appears to be a misconception that there was always a wide divide between RS and RW playlist, albeit one did open up in later years. As moderator just tweaked your reply somewhat. 2 Link to comment Social source share
