The last one is a bit of a curve ball, apparently I am the only person in the world who likes it or will admit to liking it. The rest are brilliant.

I must admit to having a guilty liking for Hand of Fate as well.

There - I've said it.

The other side of "Hand Of Fate" is better, it's a lovely version of "You Make Me Feel Like Someone" (also done by Jerry Butler, Eloise Laws, Billy J. Kramer , Johnny Gilliam, Liz Damon and - best of all, the truly incredible version by - P.J. Proby). It's one of my favourite songs of all time...

Pure quality from Deon Jackson, cant remember where i first heard this might have ben the swann hotel allnighters, mansfield, or stafford, but stil a great record

It all takes me back to the Wheelrights in Gloucester, early 80s. (apart from Honey and the Bees. Dont know that one, tho I do like some of their other stuff.)

Great little group of Northern Soul records. Thats what its all about Pete. Sounds like that!

Not keen on the Babies........................but the others IMHO are first class NS records. I absolutely love Pee Wee Shuck & Huey, Dean Anderson used to play this covered up & loved it from the first moment I heard it......................You dont have this for sale do you Pete, by any chance ?????.

No, I nearly did, when Mick was selling it, but now he's decided to hang on to it until he gets a good trade. He turned down £1000 for it. That's a 70% increase in price in just under 3 years.

It's ok..I prefer his Jet Powers rock n roll singles, he sounds just like Elvis.

I've got a great clip of PJ Proby doing You Can't Come Home Again on German tv, he's obviously drunk and can't remember the words he's meant to be miming to so he keeps putting his arm in front of his mouth :thumbsup:
