Best version I've ever heard is by the Melodic Singers.....monster, IMO. Residing in only 3 collections, from my research.

Mik's a guest at a future 'Dekka's Roots Room' so guess all will be in for a real treat . Any chance of a sound clip ?

Jonny Monk played Jack  Teagarden's (1957?) Jazz/swing version last night - sounded great , caught the moment with deserved applause .
