October 24, 200618 yr I think I've got that, I'll have a look Pete your avatar was the first film I ever saw as a child - Is it on DVD now?
October 24, 200618 yr Pete your avatar was the first film I ever saw as a child - Is it on DVD now? Yes it is mate, I also saw it when I was very young and was totally besotted by it from about the age of 5 til I saw it again when I was maybe 11. Then after that I was besotted by Janet Leigh's bust (as it appears in the film) sadly I can't find any pics of this. Didn't see it again for many years but JC Tom sent me a copy on video a few years back.
October 24, 200618 yr I Like - "The weekends here" Cracking tune IMO and its on Australian Parkway My favourite Chubby record! I also love The Bronzettes 'Hot Spot' which Chubby produced.
October 24, 200618 yr me too, got it on British, anyone know price ? Around £30 for M- issue I would have thought Alan, maybe £50 for a demo.
October 24, 200618 yr How'd you get that link to work Paul? Never bloody work with Soulclub .. Right click on tune you want to play then click on properties then cut and paste url.
October 24, 200618 yr Right click on tune you want to play then click on properties then cut and paste url. Yeah did that (post # 9) didn't work. Try again without fancy dan reworded link thingy. Bet it still doesn't piggin' work. But hey everyone knows 'You just don't know'. Still like At the Discotheque, not ashamed to say.. https://www.soulclub.org/stream/Chubby_Chec...'t_Know.ram

(Afficianado's will know the bit I mean) Believe it or not, I have a cat called Badger, who comes runing, from wherever he is, everytime I whistle the tune from the vikings! (the bit where the guy on the platform blows the huge horn) Da-daaa-da, Da daaaa-da dada-dada dada dada dadaaaaa! One for Pete! Anyone else ever notice that the battering ram the vikings use is shaped like a huge nob? Edited October 24, 200618 yr by Trevski

October 24, 200618 yr Thanks for replys gang, some good ones there,i like Chubby is voice is so sincere, have not played the cooperettes yet, maybe later!!. I've put a thing in the techy section on this, everything after an apostrophe gets cut off when you submit your post, so links with apostrophes in don't work (if that makes sense). Hi Chubby Checker, made some wonderful records, It's nice to see him get some recognition. Here is the other White DEMO for "Everything's Wrong" "(At The) Discotheque" - "(Do The) Discotheque" - "Looking At Tomorrow" ............ Looking at tomorrow was the most difficult to find, seen it on both White DEMO's but took ages to actually acquire. I hope you find one Simon My copy cost me quite a bit, but it was worth every penny in my opinion - Equally as good as "You Just Don't Know" Edited October 24, 200618 yr by 45cellar

October 24, 200618 yr Hi It's just occurred to me, has anyone ever seen a Stock Copy for "Looking At Tomorrow" I haven't. Surely Chubby didn't struggle to get a release with his last few records for Parkway. "You Just Don't Know" only just made it to a DEMO in the U.S.A. "Looking At Tomorrow" is almost as elusive, does anyone know what happened with these releases. Edited October 24, 200618 yr by 45cellar
