Been checking out some tunes in old issues of the excellent 'New Blackbeat' and this is mentioned as a Sam spin from late '82. 

Just awesome - has it seen much action in recent years? Can't be many around judging by previous mentions on here i.e. JM auctioned it for almost £3k. Sounds like a Butch tune to me. Need to get saving up 

 

Think Andy Whitmore has a copy as I seem to recall he put it on tape for me way back when.

Quite like the B side too (not uptempo, just like it)

Sounds more like a Soul Sam spin to me. Not quite good enough for Butch's box IMO.
