January 10, 200718 yr Think a B sides soundfile thread could be in order for next week Hi Rachel I'll look forward to that, I have thought for a while that there was something quite sepecial about the B Side. There have been many hidden Northern Gems, waiting for us to discover over the years. My theory is that the B Sides sort of slid through the net, while the attention was focussed on the A Side. Allowing an Artistic wonderland for Artists, writers, producers etc to flourish. I tried a similar thread to this the other week >>> Link <<< It will be a very interesting soundfile thread Give The Man A Chance - Soul Twins - 1777 refosoul Here's just one, of the B Sides "Give The Man A Chance" which has become one of the best Double Siders, ever. January 10, 200718 yr There are so many superb double headers out there, a regular feature of mine on the radio show is 'two for the price of one' or 'i feel a flip coming on', been doing it since i first started doing the show on 'Solar' way back in November 2000, play at least two or three double headers every show, so important to flip records over when you buy them as you never know. Regards - Mark Bicknell www.solarradio.com

January 12, 200718 yr Roger, I was going to nominate 'Mend the Torn Pieces' - pure midtempo heaven - but I couldn't remember the label....thanks for the scans and info...brilliant Jo Hi Jo No problem, anytime. I originally bought this for the A Side "I Can't Change" which I still love. Today, I too adore "Mend The Torn Pieces" - It's a fantastic record. It did of course get a later issue on Junior 1071 with a slight change to the Credits. The Sensations with Yvonne Baker changed to Yvonne Baker & The Sensations. Produced By Kae Williams. appeared on the Label. So nice to know who helped to create this Masterpiece Edited January 12, 200718 yr by 45cellar
