I'm guessing it must be reasonably well known in lowrider community as it has literally just been sampled by Mr. River on their new album Ol' Longo released on Jan 14th on a track called Soul Lingo. But I've no idea who it is. Not credited on label ... but there is backing from someone. He was backed by Delighters before and after this recording and also the Daylighters (name change?)
