Yep.

There's usually a good few Soul-Source members at the Chesterfield fair, both selling and buying.

At previous ones there was myself, Mick Brown, Chalky, Mace, Derek Pearson, Parkypine (Wayne), Simon Hunt plus others that I know are on here but can't recall their ID's. 

Loads of collectors of this site where there to many to mention 

Just a quick update on yesterday's fair 

Lovely sunny Sunday nearly 40 stalls filled all types of music covered 

Soul sellers catered for us collectors very well

They are held outside, usually markets.  Suppose you have to use some common and socially distance best you can, wear a mask it you wish and sanitise…..if it bothers someone, stop in

They have all been pretty good what I have attended in Chesterfield, people respectful of others etc.  

Our event guide @misc' section now has this added for July

No mask in sight and I see some folks not keeping distance. Very irresponsible.

Doesn’t really affect you does it? I didn’t go to the last one but done the previous ones with no issues.  Didn’t wear a mask but I sanitised often. 

It's outside so masks not a legal requirement. Not sure I would be willing to do an outdoors fair in this country because of the weather unpredictability. 

My first record fair in 15 months is at Reading on Bank Holiday Monday.

This months fair as promised 

Lets hope we get better weather....!

There is no legal requirement to wear a mask outdoors in the UK and the chance of catching COVID outdoors is practically nil. Also we have administered close to 60 million shots of vaccine including first and second jabs. 

 

I was looking about in Llandudno on Thursday and came across a small record fair in a church hall. It was on Friday and Saturday as well.

Not a lot there apart from some original Motown Lp's and a black London 45 of Darrell Banks😊 I left it, as I wedge my doors open with them at home! 😊

Starts 11-5 13/6/21

Outside event with Paddy, David and myself setting up stall with 1000s of ace collectables.

Another good day at the Chesterfield fair last Sunday. Around 40 or so dealers.

Plenty of soul 45's and albums for sale. Lots of collectors there who are on SS.

Sean Hampsey and Kevin Briscoe from the 'Diggin Deep' team had a stall with everything from reissues to 500 quid rarities and in demand tunes. Derek Pearson also there.

Snatched a video off the AA record Fairs site, look out for a glimpse of the Diggin Deep stall at around 38 secs.

Next one is 18th July with an approx KO at 9.00am.

Just fyi - I do not have any involvement in this event.
