(Short lived band and label. Only 2 releases for the Kansas City scene where the Indications were strutting their stuff. Fabulous lead vocals, a presence that grows as the tracks goes on, overlaid on cool group vocals. Beautiful emerald green labels, sweet vinyl, very light edge lift, DNAP)

(Outstanding horn laden, Latin tinged, Northern dance floor filler and just about the best label design on the scene. In super condition)

Miss Madeline – Behave yourself / Lonely girl – Mar-V-Lus 6019 Ex+ £30

(Superb femme Chicago soul, tasty double sider, take your pick, both sides equally good, win-win)

Theola Kilgore – It’s gonna be alright – Mercury 72564 M- £100

(Gerry Goffin and Carole King seal of distinction. Tidy flip as well, on a beautiful red stock copy, with just a drill hole that’s stops me stating its flawless)
