Pat always has some great items for auction, and I find his write up's are more Northern Soul scene historically acurate than some others!

Not sloppy but informative. If someone wants something they can bid now, even though some of the auction's are not finished until next week.

Pat Brady has some great records on auction, and I just wanted to give them a bit of recognition, as some of the other major dealers get.

So why not jjust post a direct link to Pat's auction page that shows everything on offer (all five pages worth) between now and what's ending in a month's time ... ?

I doubt however that there are many on here that are unaware of his site as he's been selling for over three decades on there.

I hope you are going to say the same when John Manship auctions are put up on here. People can get a link to  Manships site and get the finishing prices direct!

The site has a few nice pieces,and is always varied in raritie and values,however I don’t find it an easy site to register onto,and it appears the same records go round and round,maybe the reserves are to high? Personally I don’t think auctions should have reserves!

The John Manship and Tim Brown ended auction posts by fellow members were/are classed as informative 

You have just posted a lazy grab of upcoming auctions ranging from 1- 8 days

There is a major difference between posting upcoming adverts and posting ended auction details in our main soul forum

The informative Ebay Highlights section on this site lists up and coming auctions before the auction had finished, so not much difference.

Dobber sums up the situation nicely. There are some nice records portrayed but they go up and up in price then vanish to reappear again at a later date. The auction is a sealed bid one so only the seller knows what is actually going on. Some of the records are advertised a few days after what John and Tim have also put up for auction. The minimum bids and finishing values are often too high so nobody can really snag a bargain. I would be very interested to learn of any auction winnings on Pat’s site…

I've picked up 3 of the 4 items I've bid on from Pat's site in the last 12 months. I was happy with the amounts I bid and was successful with. Some things go way higher than my valuation well in advance of the end date and that means I'm out. That may be because of a high bid or reserve. Not bothered which! If it's a high reserve I treat it the same as someone posting a set sale item at a price I think is too high.
