Dylan
Do legitimate re-issues, boots or even CDs for that matter have an effect on the price of an original pressing that may be hard to find ? So a rare record that could only be heard from the origional vinyl is suddenly very easy to hear. for classic oldies i'd say probably not but when it comes to vinyl that has prehaps a smaller niche market then that might not be the case. What do others think ? Link to comment Social source share
Guest
It can sometimes increase the value since what is holding many genuinely rare records back pricewise is the simpe fact that not many people have heard them, and thus not that many are looking for them or want them. In the same way it seems that the price sometimes goes up when original copies of a record turn up in a small quantity.
