July 25, 200717 yr I'm going to do a Hippo here and say big tune at Yate One of the first tunes I really loved and still do to this day. Trouble is my account is £424 short for this copy Yes, it was one of those tunes that hadn't been booted, hadn't been played for ages, so I started reviving it at Yate and it just grew from there. Funny thing is, when I first heard it at the Cats, I didn't even like the darn thing!
July 25, 200717 yr Author I can tell you for definite that Minshull tried reviving this at Wigan (tape is May 77) and it cleared the floor.

Doesn't surprise me at all Pete, there were many things that packed the floor at Yate and probably St. Ives that would have failed at the Casino AT THAT TIME...the "Pop" effect was in full swing...and I'm sure that people who went to Cleethorpes (never made it myself) could come up with examples as well.
