October 19, 200717 yr And as that time of year is nearly upon us again...(?) If a re-release of PERRY COMO`S two classic albums (Perry Como Sings Merry Christmas Music (RCA 1957), Perry Como Sings The Songs Of Christmas (RCA 1958) is on the cards- consider this as an additional track, my learned friends and colleagues... Done in the same style and tempo as his classic "LET IT SNOW" (complete with sleigh bells).....His version of The Invitations (and Beach Girls) classic "SKIING IN THE SNOW" ..Imagine it..Think it would work??
Pop singers doing brilliant soul records-
Shakin Stevens doing the Servicemen "ARE you angry" That would be ludricous
Cilla Black doing Conny Van Dyk - Dont do nothin I wouldnt do (Wack!)
Just imagine it and then try to stop laughing
