Guest
I feel compelled to do a lookback on this because it was such a great night AND you dont hear much on here from them. These days' the guys at grasshoppers tend to promote locally and have quite a local following, ANYWAY, twas a packer - great crowd (virtually full house), great atmosphere and great music. There was nothing rare or rubbish played. I knew and loved all that I heard. It's fair to say it's all classic northern with a bit of 7t's and a bit of club soul thrown in. Angie Rostron had the floor full and did a great spot, as did Graham Slater. The thing that I noticed and appreciated was the friendly welcome to everyone who came in from Dave,Angie and Johnny. Johnny commented to me that he can't believe they are still there after nearly 11years, I figure what they do isn't difficult but it's done well, they're friendly, genuine and wanna have a good time. That's why people love 'em. Well done guys! Jayne.x. Edited June 30, 2008 by Miss BurySoul Link to comment
