October 22, 200816 yr With the current exchange rate, lap dances will be about £2.50 each.... I don't know how I'll cope with only one girl at a time.
October 22, 200816 yr Will it effected your ebay bids - stateside purchases, etc. It's affecting my brain, I'm having to use my calculator again. Much easier when £ = $/2
October 22, 200816 yr bought my first record in months this week only to find out exchange rate has been crap lately gutted and record was only 12-50 including postage , should have been a tenner
October 22, 200816 yr I'm going to the US in a couple of weeks and then again end of December. I forward purchased my $ for my November trip as soon as it started looking a bit dodgy, so got $1.80 for the £. I did the same again today for my December trip and could only get $1.64. That's a 10% difference in just a couple of weeks. I'm hoping that it gets better before I go in December, as I've not bought all the currency that I'll need, but I'm hoping it gets better. We've not been used to having to do this for a long time now. On previous trips of late I've just got a few $ to start me off and used credit cards & cash machines for everything. Phil
October 22, 200816 yr Will it effected your ebay bids - stateside purchases, etc. I bagged a tune last week off e bay - 400 dollars so E bay converted it to £230 - I left it a couple of days and paid for it with Western Union (This seller wont use paypal) And they converted 400 dollars to 250 quid (the exchange rate had changed) and then there is their bleeding fee !!!! Most pissed off I was !! Another thing - Do you think American dealers adjust there prices on their websites when exchange rates change in their favour ? Its just I missed out the other week on the copy of "Tony Galla" - "In Love" that John Manship had on his site for 300 quid in mint - Someone mentioned that Craig Moerer had one - so I checked it out - yes - he had one for 750 dollars which now works out at 460 quid !!!! (it would have been 325 a year ago) Just a thought Best Mossy
October 23, 200816 yr Got up today off nights. Saw a record I've been after for ages on a buy it now. Hit the button, HOW MUCH!!!! BLOODY HELL, I'm gonna have to be more carefull in future....the big money items are gonna be very expensive for a while.... ...

The information contained in this email is merely an opinion and should not be relied upon as investment advice. So there. It may be $1.50 before the end of the day! Just checked Yahoo and it was one $1.53...... hang on , it's now $1.52 Actually, it suits me cos I sold a load of work in the States last year and didn't bring the money over because of the unfavourable exchange rate ($2.11 about a year ago) Now, I would get £100's extra, just for waiting.......
