maybe this has been done before, but i thought it may be worth a shout to find out what turned people to this great music.listening to grace jones on ken bruce playing 3degrees "dirty ol man" which along with "year of decision" were faves of mine at the time.the records i remember turning me onto soul (apart from the obvious motown) were DON DOWNING "LONELY DAYS, LONELY NIGHTS" AND EDDIE KENDRICKS "KEEP ON TRUCKING" and b4 that "yesterday has gone CUPID'S INSPIRATION, all great imho! would be nice for some of the "older" guys and gals on here to recall their teenage soul faves!
