I'm considering letting these 2 go in trade, if no-one gets in touch before end of night I'll email him and offer the for his £5 coin:

£2 coin - 1998 issue, solid EX+ condition (pays perfect)

Books about £2 but seen sell for higher

£5 note - 1992 issue, numerous tears and creases - looks rough but pays fine

Books £5 mint

Offlist offers to l_l_m_w@hotmail.co.uk

No Mr Bond you're wrong - the matt copies, no matter what you read, are the reissues: identical in every way bar the Sterling stamp ( thumbsup.gif ) and of course the shine.

Magnificent coin IMO - one of my personal faves.

Anyone interested in my old Half Crown?

It's been run over by a tram and looks pretty squashed and knackered.

Fine for DJing

Bought one of a dodgy Belgian dealer...looked real but left it in my wallet and the bugger melted...turned out to be a chocolate one....

(This in no way implies that all Belgian coin dealers are dodgy before anyone has a pop....just their chocolate coins)

come from a long line of coin collectors in my family, you might be surprised as to the values of mint coins in their year of mint, same thing with stamps, my dad collected both coins and stamps as a very minor hobbie along side antiques, I still have them all, 43 years worth in storage! will one day sell them and buy some more records LOL, well once the boys are older and have taken what collections they want first, he also collected toy cars, train sets, books, comics......... list goes on

i'm really pissed off because all the jokes have been done (and very well done too i might add)

bah!

Talking of stamps, has anyone seen the heat sensitive ones that reveal which of three pyramids contain an object when you rub your finger over them.

Worth buying them for that alone..

Mind you, it seems fun at first, but as it is always the same pyramid it gets boring after a bit....

your right got the flyer for them here, but as with records normally only a certain amount are made of these coins, maybe the bloke on ebay's target buyer is house bound and lazy people? LOL
