Yep, with a Picture Sleeve, early 90's I think but it's a pig ugly label, painted pink Motown label. If I remember when I get home I'll scan it smile.gif

Pig ugly you say? Well aslong as there's a pressing out there.

Any ideas on price?

There's a 12" copy on Amazon for about a fiver, as for the 7" no idea I'm afraid.

It's only pug ugly cos it's not a paper label, if only it had been silver on black yes.gif

Think my copy is on that blue/silver uk motown label. In picture sleeve.Paid a fiver for it yonks ago.Got two versions on mine I think.Am at work so can check when I get home.

anything from £5 to £30

Came out on an earlier 45 - flip to "The World is Rated 'X' " or some such nonesense...

Not sure if its the correct mix though.

Lonely Lover is on the flip of The World is Rated "X" British / European only (Not on US copies)

I've got the Lucky Lucky Me that's shown above somewhere and I'm sure it's a slower version and not very good?

lucky lucky me...6 versions...

which one do you pick...

Lucky lucky me (extended mix)

"" "" (instrumental)

"" "" (radio edit)

"" "" (the '65 ragga vibe mix)

Are any of those takes the same as the CD only cut - the same speed as 'All For You' - the flip to Earl Van Dyke's 6x6 on T.Motown ?? THAT is the best version. Bob Hinsley has an 8" or 10" acetate that he spins it off but don't know the origins of his copy.

Fingers..

No mate, certainly on the demo 12" they're all remixes or retouched, which is why you need the CD single!

Whats the story with accetate's then? This might have to be an option. Does someone do them in Uk?

Graham.

Oh no no no, this has to be the version:

As Billb say's; CD release only for this version. Get it cut to a carver, it's not like your booting an original, just making a un-issued track playable at soul nights that don't use a CD player :D

And to be honest, whichever version is played it's still a great Motown record

Yep, don't think it got a release as a 7" though?

It sounds like the one on the Marvin Gaye early classics CD that spectrum put out in the mid 90's.

thats the version off the lost and found cd of unreleased and unfinished tunes they got freddie gorman & some of the other boys to finish a few of the tunes.
