    There is a seventies reissue on green Prestige an eighties reissue on faux 50's yellow Prestige...... but the real mccoy is on very heavy 60's vinyl on a blue Prestige label

And what a talented band of musicians they were (are) Wilton Felder,Stix Hooper,Wayne Henderson Joe Sample , I saw them with Airto at The Empire and Miss Crawford came out to sing with them in the same way. Always liked the solo Joe Sample outing 'There are many stops along the way' This could have got northern plays if it had been shorter IMHO

  19. Just noticed a Vessie Simmons album go on e bay for just over a tenner(cheap IMO) I believe the album vers. of Make It on my own is Different from the 45 mix Anybody got a sound file?.... of the album vers.
