Like so many others earlier today we were shocked and saddened by the news of the passing of a truly lovely man and dear friend to many on the Northern Scene. Our special memory of you Grant Rankin will always be there and make us smile, on our wedding anniversary because Pete forgot the CD for our chosen record to walk into and you did a mercy dash to your car and grabbed the first CD you could lay your hands on but I'm blowed to this day if I know what we walked into. RIP Grant x Liz and Pete

shouldn't think so Mike mad not enough people to fill um. What happened to the nighter planner I was looking for it the other day.

I hope that he is alright. However this just confirms what I keep saying a lot of the artists that made the music we all love and restpect are now getting on in years, they should not keep getting taken around to do shows anymore it isn't fair on them. I respect these artists and feel that they should now be allowed to retire like other people do, this is my opinion.

Monthly venues have gotta be Burscough Leigion, Bury Masonic and Heywood. pete and I have enjoyed supporting these three venues in the North West and will continue throughout 2010. Well done lads Best weekender Barnstaple long way to go but well worth it roll on Nov 2010 for the next one.

They did have mid week nites at casino from about 77 till the end, only know cos i used to go to them, they were on wed, fri and sat nites they did try other nites as well, was my youth club I descovered the niters in between and ain't looked back since.

I gotta agree that Sam Evans is one of the best lady dancers so full of engery, Kathy from Stoke is also up there. As for the best male dancers for me its gotta be Carl Piper from Mansfield and Pete Neal originally from York but now in sunny Wigan
