  1. I think there's a good crossover track on the LP as well but I can't remember the track. I remember buying the UK Contempo version of "Blowing up..." and the disappointment when I heard it was unbelievable. Absolute pile of... compared to the USA RCA version, and there was no indication that it was gonna be different from the far superior USA version. Jordi
  2. I've got "Let home cross your mind" on DPG, which is a killer funky crossover tune, but it's such a low press that you really have to turn up the amp to get any volume out of it. Apparently that was why it never got distributed, which is a shame. They should have done another mix of it as it's such a deadly little tune. Maybe the DPG engineers didn't know what the f*ck they were doing? Jordi
  3. I was thinking the same about the Johnny Guitar watson - "Love Jones" track. One of the best slow groove deep tunes ever!! The amount of times over the last 15 years that this tune has carried me safely to bed just can't be counted. Sublime and wonderful, and I'm glad it's sold because I was starting to get irritated. Jordi
  4. I was on about the one on the funk forum Harry, I think it was called vocab. Jordi
  5. How do you tell the first issue Lenny? I've had this in the 70's from John Anderson I seem to remember, orange RCA in a company bag. Jordi
  6. This thread was the best read ever, and Jason's "Shelf Shitter" must surely enter the oxford English dictionary at some point in the near future. If you haven't read this thread, grab a beer or a coffee, put yer feet up and slowly work your way through it, you'll be glad you did. Jordi
  7. Yes, I've got this one and "You live only once" came out on another AMG issue with a different flip, not as good as "Try it once again" though. Jordi
  8. Try Craig Moerer's site. Jordi
  9. I would say anywhere between £350 - £550 Albert. The flip is also a killer funk/soul tune as well, so you get two for the price of one. Jordi
  10. Max, I know this aint much help but you missed Tony Aiken and Future 2000 on Manship's auction. Someone had a result with that one.
  11. Top, Top class stepper, stunning vocal by Shu-ga. Anyone into steppers that doesn't know this should buy it blind. Jordi

This sells for anywhere between £75 and £100+. I would say that £60 is a very cheap price rather than £100 being expensive. Jordi
  13. I need that other thing on Jenges. Jordi
  14. Same length track on 7" or 12". The 7" is the orig 70's (or is it 80's?) and the 12" is a 90's release which you know but some may not. Jordi
  15. Will that be for a hundred then Steve? Jordi
  16. Damn!! I knew I should have bought Stan Ivory when it was a hundred a few years back. Jordi

James Mason is a good price. Jordi
  18. My favourite Johnny Moore track. It shouldn't be too expensive or hard to get I wouldn't have thought. £50 ish? May be Steve Plumb or Paul Capon might have it for sale. Jordi
  19. I've been after Elevator song for ages. I thought the orig was on styrene and boot on good vinyl. Am I right? Jordi
  20. I think about £30 - £40 Pete. Jordi
  21. Got the lp you can have for a tenner if you want Phil. Jordi
  22. I saw the Philharmonics go for over $220 last night. Have I missed something here? I know it used to be rare but it's been £30 for 10 years, how come it's jumped up, have they dried up and become indemand or what? Great tune though. Jordi
  23. Have a listen to this version. Rather nice. https://www.juno.co.uk/ppps/products/284933...highlight=maceo Jordi
  24. About £150 Chris. Nice tune. See ya on Sunday. Jordi
  25. Bugger would seem to be the right word.
