  1. This is great! In fact EVERYONE should have a copy
  2. And how good did it sound last night? Great stuff ps: what's the going rate for this now?
  3. I don't know Mel... you looked pretty good getting down with your bad self at Lowton to Oscar Perry - Face Reality. Now... anyone who can shake their cake to that is da man in my book!
  4. No way! Have played this out a few times recently... wish I knew what they were singing about though... anyone?
  5. Binkin' Nora Mark... thought you'd have one of these already. Great tune... both sides!
  6. Mine would be the already mentioned... Peace Loving Man. But in close second place.... Paper Lace - Billy Don't Be A Hero

Hi Jayne, I haven't got a clue... but I seem to remember Ged Parker knowing a bit about licences etc... maybe worth a try? Anyway... Good luck with it
  8. You play the other side of course... as long as it's not the instrumental. Have always thought Good Good Loving was the best side by a mile!
  9. I agree... its a fab track... not sure about it sounding more Mirwood than Bob and Earl's version though. But what do I know anyway hey Flynny. Hope you're ok
  10. Have to say I have never been a fan of those kind of antics... not what I'd class as dancing from your heart... but hey... that's just me. Always loved watching Guy Hennigan dance... totally unique and soooo cool. As for dancing from the heart... they don't come much more heartfelt than our very own Captain... Chris Morgan. Oh... and John Weston... watching this guy dance ALWAYS lifts my heart... I reckon the NHS should prescribe a dose of 'John Weston watching' instead of the time honoured Prozac Guys like Chris and John may not be 'technically' brilliant dancers... but what they give from their heart more than makes up for it... and that's what's important in my book! GREAT STUFF
  11. What I want to know is... why didn't you recommend me for the job instead of Danielle?
  12. No... but I was looking for album covers for a uni project last year and came across this on Popsike. Published in 1994... I surprised by how recent it was. Sold on Ebay for £44 in 2006
  13. And if that price is agreeable... I have one too!
  14. PM'd ya yesterday Sid... did you get it?
  15. Hey Phil... are you trying to make James jealous with your avatar?

Yes it is... clicked the 'Download to a player of your choice Clicking Here' thingy....

    It won't work for me
  18. Another one of 'those days' Neil?
  19. Ha ha ha... not again! People will start to talk
  20. You sure it's not HARRY STARR - STEP INTO MY WORLD - END? It's the flip to 'Another Time Another Place' A big spin for my old pal Jocko many moons ago...
  21. It's whiter than snow... but I've always liked it. First heard it on a 1985 tape from the legend that is Pete Miles. Carl Fortnum gave it the odd outing too... albeit 15 or more years ago.
  22. Hi everyone, Just wanted to keep those who are interested in the Pete do up to date with what's happening. As far as sorting venues... have found one that is potentially available the first three Saturdays of the month ... and another I am looking at for a Friday night. As for sorting a date... where's a 'tearing your hair out' smiley when you want one! I knew it wasn't going to be easy... but the way things are at the moment it's nigh on impossible to find a date that doesn't clash with at least twenty all nighters and a couple of hundred soul nights. How could anybody even consider starting up a new venue with the amount of do's already listed in the events calendar? Anyway... I just wanted to ask for your patience with this... the night is DEFINITELY going to happen... just a case of when.
