Oops, I should have said I think all DJ's should get paid the same.

I have never been bothered about the money side of things as far as DJ'ing myself is concerned. Although I did find myself in the middle of bit of a hoo ha once But to be fair that didn't stem from the amount of the wages but over something the promoter said to me. Anyway, that said, I am bothered about paying other DJ's. I do not promote, haven't got it in me, but every guest DJ at DDA gets paid. Not mega money, but they always get paid. We, as in Paul, Karl and myself, are paid a set amount for doing the back room at Lowton and that amount is split equally five ways. If the occasion ever arose where it had been quiet and the amount we were paid was less than usual, we would make sure our guest DJ's got paid the usual amount and we would go without. End of. It would be interesting to find out people's views about whether all DJ's should get paid the same. Or do you feel some DJ's deserve to get paid more than others?

Absolutely! Every bit as good as I Miss My Baby & Bari Track. Like I said, I hate instrumentals but this tune is far too good for vocals!

It was certainly played there Grant. By Gary Spencer if my memory serves me correctly? Then again I could be wrong. Chalky will remember I'm sure.

Paul Sadot had this up for sale recently. I think it sold, although I may be mistaken. Might be worth a try just in case. I do know he wanted a lot more than £700 for it though.

Got mine of Dave Evison at Leighton Buzzard all nighter (wasn't easy) and I can't remember seeing another for sale. But then again I haven't looked. Have seen the others by her on Academy for sale loads of times. Great tune indeed.

John Weston and Chris Morgan get my vote. Not what you lot would call 'technically' good dancers but boy do they dance from the heart. I could watch them for hours. And they always lift my heart!

I am surprised by how many people don't play the other side of records. Something I can't get my head around.

Can't remember who that first one is by Chalky but it is another version of Four Tops 'Loves Like Fire'. I know Cliff Camfield used to have it because I had it on a tape from him years ago. The next one is The Marteniques on MeO (but you knew that already). No idea about the third one.
