  4. it is very, very, very good!
  5. No, i meant crediting the originator site/contributor, plus all SS contributors of course. the funniest thing ever said was 'if you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans for tomorrow' !
  6. Ta. Yes that looks it's where i got the .pdf file from, thanks and due credit to it. i think it's important to give credit to these sites / contributors as they obviously put in a great deal of work.
  7. It seems to sample James' Come Home, so that might be help when googling it.
  8. Membership included Ruby Jewel, Sarah, Bernadean Johnson, Johnnie Ruth-King, Fay Porter and Bishop Le Roy Dowd
  9. Sister Sarah James and the Sanctified Six singing the barnstorming “God rode on a windstorm” with Ruby Jewel’s fabulous rocking piano accompaniment. Despite the record’s local popularity, the Sanctified Six never recorded again. The Sanctified Six split up when Ruby Jewel finished up night school. (i need to find out again where this came from to give credit) this Ruby - born July 14th, 1940, passed away on November 20, 2007

Can anybody offer up some C/Us that still to be exposed? if i was to make one, it would be 'A glimpse of' by Fanny Button & the Ghosts
  15. what was biggest attendance at northern event and when was it?
  16. they also went to the bother of changing the time and number from 1179 to 1180 The scans also are fundamentally different, not just an copy of the 'A' and changing of the title to something they just dreamed up.
  17. If an issue did exist, and i think it does, would anyone like to hazard a guess as to what it's value would be?
  18. Not this one was it? Ouch!
  19. It might be 40+ years ago, but i remember you telling me he had an issue.
  20. Was it you who thought Pete Hallis(?) from Spalding had one or was a different record? i think that scan is for real.
  21. Jukeboxes? Preponderance of them in US to UK. Higher turn over of records in the US and need for the bar, diner owners to have to 'dib' them?
  22. 'Just for fun', if you need any help with the provenance of A's etc, or indeed record collecting in general, I can highly recommend this video guide. Go to 40m 30s for information on A's. Considering the condition of the seller's A's, i.e. all M's, I suspect they came from Lard's collection. as they're 'hard to find in that condition'!
