  7. Ian Years ago a saw a bit of a video of you with the Andantes in Detroit and you said something along the lines of 'Like A Nightmare' was your favourite record; why is it so very rare and why didn't they get loads of record released in their own right, did they say?
  8. I don't think there much there, even in the conurbations. My mate moved there a couple of years ago and has only been interested into Northern recently, but seems to be even finding difficulty getting northern comp Cds! quote from a email from last week "How is the Northern Soul DVD thing coming on, we are all desperate for some soul down here in the southern ocean. It is very difficult to get here, though I have bought a few through ebay, which is a bit hit and miss, I have been lucky with hits mainly, The In Crowd and Connoisseurs Vol 1&2. Do you have any recommendations for other compilation CDs? I like tracks like Tony Clarke's Landslide, The Originals Suspicion and The Excitors Blowing up my mind".

  15. What are the end prices on other auctions like? Do they go for the expected prices, book prices or over the odds? The couple I've ever looked at, one seems to have the same records over and over again on about a 3 month rotation; the other seem to be just records out of the owners collection with a reserve bids of about 150% of what you'd expect as a top price for them.
