It was quite a hard decision to be honest, our main concern with the Royal was they we're having a few problems with the dancefloor however we went down last Saturday and it's all been sorted and as good as new . Sharon

As promised after our last do at Deja Vu Club in Blackheath we've discussed all the comments made on the night and on here and have decided to go back to The Royal in Walsall. We have also decided to change our dates for next year which we had already put on our website due to other events in the area so listed below are the dates for the rest of this year right upto the end of next year 28th November 16th January 3rd April - 3rd anniversary all nighter 22nd May 3rd July 4th September 6th November We will be continuing with the same music policy pushing the boundaries as we have done for the past 2 and half years and we're always open to any idea's you may have. We're looking forward to having a permanent home at last and to more great night's at USOS. Our DJ's for 28th November are Kitch, Chalky, Phil Shields, Kenny Onions, The Willingham Collective and Chris Jones. Sharon, Kev & Martyn

I went to a soul week in Ibiza a few years back 2002 I think they did it for 2 years but never heard anymore about it after that. We had a great week I will see if I can find the details out. If you go out every year maybe worth you doing it yourself as you'll know the place well. Sharon

Does anyone remember standing outside Wigan when a load of locals walked down the road obviously hellbent on starting a fight, I must have had about 10 bags thrown at my feet saying look after me bag, I've really never seen anything like it but believe me the locals soon backed off . Sharon

Remember going to The Raven in Whitchurch one night and it was so foggy you could hardly see a foot in front of the car anyway after picking Mick Vickers up we got there evenutally, a lot later on I was stood on the door with Helen when Smokey turned up and Helen said your late he said yeah we followed a coach on the motorway thinking it was going the same way and ended up in Wales everytime I see him now I think of that and end up in stitches. Russ you took the words out of my mouth was just wandering the same thing, we'd been away for 2 weeks then came home to our own event going belly up (but sorted in time) and then we were off line for over a week so missed what actually happened. We're quite disappointed coz while we were away we saw LAI in Clearwater on 7th March and they were fantastic we were looking forward to hearing them sing all their northern hits over here. Sharon

Swoz Ted's right the Oakley has now ceased trading happened about 3 weeks ago, she hadn't bothered to let us know even though we'd left loads of messages and e-mail's. I got an e-mail off her on Saturday morning saying she thought she had contacted everyone and at least she offered to repay our deposit. We've now managed to get somewhere else details are on my signature. Sharon

I know Max our do had been booked along with the dj's in the middle of last year which is why we are sticking with our dates, your support was and is really appreciated along with everyone else, unfortunate on this occasion. Forgot you used to do that Mart my memory isn't what it used to be plus all this over the past couple of months is making it worse (well that's my excuse anyway ). This is what happens though, we have stuck through clashes etc which can't be helped most of the time and carried on going we do have really good supporters though and we do really appreciate their support. I really hope you find something that you like. Sharon

Hiya Mart & JB The thread about USOS is now up in events, what a nightmare, I am sorry that it clashes with the Stables, but even if it had still been at Holmes Chapel it would have been on the same night it's just unfortunate that we had trouble with the original venue and ended up down your way. Anyway Mart please don't be buying any ropes I know we clash this time but at the moment USOS is sort of homeless which also gives us the chance to play around with dates although as you know it's nearly impossible not to clash with another do along the way especially in the Midlands. We are still looking for another permanent venue at the moment. Hope your not too disheartened, give the Sunflower a try the music is brilliant there as well. Sharon
