Stevie Wonder - Until You Come Back To Me
I've got it on triple LP set and had assumed that it was released at the time it was recorded. Aretha's version is the best but Hil St. Soul is also very good.

Bobbettes - Happy Go Lucky Me - Rca
Bearsy played it at the last Kent Soul Club night. It sounded fantastic!

Urban Blues Project
Lol. I heard a lot of good songs that night - Charles & Gwen Scales, Jean Carne & Glenn Jones, Robbie Danzie, Vivian Reed, Ali Ollie Woodson (but not Atlantic Starr ). Great venue.

Urban Blues Project
Personally, I think that's a good thing Steve. It's a great record and it's recent. Onwards and upwards!!

Urban Blues Project
LOve Don't Live is on the Village soul 2 CD. This shouldn't be too hard to get on 12", I wouldn't have thought. Is it actually being played at northern soul dos?

£10 Itunes Voucher
The unreleased David Ruffin LP is on there, that had a very limited CD run. In fact, there's plenty of good stuff on it.

T D Valentine
He's also the ex husband of Mariah Carey, which beats being in The Poets in my book.

Sammy Gaha
Hello Pete, I seem to recall someone saying it has a while ago but can't recall the details. Is this the one you picked up at a bargain price a few years ago?

House Music
I think soulful house has been part of the modern scene to some degree for a long time now. I think there was a particularly strong period about 5-8 years ago when loads of good new releases were coming out such as Masters At Work, Donna Allen, Big Moses, Dennis Ferrer, Arnold Jarvis, Keith Thompson, Blue Six, etc. I think that was kind of a peak period for me and some of the more recent stuff hasn't been so good and certainly not in the same quantity.

George Benson
Just get the CD. It also contains "Marvin Said" too which is nice, and a picture of George outside a London pub.

Tower Of Power
Michael Jeffries also had a stint too.

Hamilton, Joe Frank & Dennison - Now That I've Got You is a great song.

I Cant Stop Playing
Loads. "Run To Me" and "The Next I Fall In Love are other two great songs by him (Qualls, btw).

Where Are We Going
Quite right. A bit ironic really - the fact that such a wonderful unissued song is only legitimately available on a greatest hits CD sold in supermarkets. Yet some people prefer an inferior bootleg because it's on vinyl and it's harder to find.
-
Where Are We Going
It's a boot, I think. The only official release is on CD and can be found in such specialist stores as Tesco, Asda, etc. Wonderful song.
