I've got this on "Soul Beat" single, bought on the scooter scene during the 80's. Think it might be Sister Sledge, Ronnie Dyson or Detroit Prophets version of Suspicion on the other side. Not too sure which as have 2 records on that label (cough - dubious origins - ) from then.

Wasn't planning on opening mine until Christmas morning, but with a few people stating they had missing and duplicate records, thought I'd take a peek. Anyway they're all present and correct. Box 01726 direct from Universal. I also had (have) a self imposed buying ban at the moment, but knew if this wasn't purchased almost immediately, then I'd be left with two choices. Either never getting one or pay a small fortune at a later date when supply couldn't meet demand.

Got mine, but got to wait until Christmas, as the wife's going to wrap it for a present! It might just join the still sealed Kent/Fame box set in the cupboard.

Paid £2 for my RCA distributed copy at Exmouth Scooter Rally 1985. How I got it home without breaking it on my scooter, I've no idea.

When they sell it off, postal charges will go through the roof, just look what happened to gas prices, rail fares, etc., It will not be about providing a service, but making a profit and as much money as possible for shareholders.

Seller responded via EBay messages when agreeing to post to UK. They have not responded to 4 requests to send an invoice with postage, all requests sent via EBay messages. Unfortunately I don't have any email address for the seller. I think I will end up losing out on this one, unfortunately if I was to buy a copy in the UK, would probably be another 40% more expensive at least.

Won a record a few days back. Seller stated only ships to US, record I really wanted and thought may have a chance of winning as a result. Asked seller if they'd ship to UK before bidding, they tell me they would and state price. I'm happy, bid and win record. Now the problems start as Ebay won't let me pay as listing states doesn't ship to UK! I message the seller 4 times In 2 days and haven't had a reply yet. Getting extremely worried that I'm going to lose out on a want.

I'm not too sure there's just one I'd purchase, there's so many that I want that I'm not too sure where I'd start. However on a similar note, last year I received a PPI compensation payment, with which I was able to purchase a Demo copy of The Majestics - I Love Her So Much, that I would otherwise never been able to afford.

My very last purchase was the Big City Soul Vol3 CD from Amazon. The reason for that being was that I'd bought a few days earlier Marlina Mars - Head & Shoulders on 7" and was looking for a CD with MGM tracks on, and that was the only one I could find.

I've just seen not what you'd call comedy, more unbelievable sale. On Anglo Americans list in sales forum... Herb & Doris - Somebody Somewhere - Hip M- £250!!!!
