  1. I also have a lemon coloured copy - has Double OO-Soul title and is a sticker demo Cheers Richard
  2. There should be threads on here about it as we have done it a few times Clues to the different mixes are in the deadwax. Cheers Richard
  3. Either it's a dummy pitch to sell the 45 or they are mixing the record up with another one - maybe a WDJ copy which is rare (but I have never seen it go for as much as $330) or a Scott's on Swingers. That is a standard red and yellow copy. Not great condition. Not even the rarer version with Agent OO-Soul title rather than Agent Double-O-Soul. Richard
  4. Keep up the good work Mike - been missing SS today Cheers Richard
  5. Never seen the Thelma release of LTBLBY A decent contender for the rarest on Thelma is probably Martha Star - Love Is The Only Solution The issue is hard (scan of mine below). The WDJ also exists but is a real tough one. Otherwise a WDJ of Joe Matthews - She's My Beauty Queen. Anyone got one? Cheers Richard
  6. Cheers Bob Presumably the Magic Touch label with Herman Griffin - Are You For Me Or Against Me (Magic Touch MT 007) was unrelated? Richard
  7. Which city is that Magic Touch label out of? Can't remember but I know there are several labels with that name. Cheers. Richard
  8. Think you may be right there about the relative rarity of the demos - my WDJ is the vinyl one with the block letters - plus I have the styrene blue issue Anyone seen any issues in the other formats, apart from the West Coast please, or can post scans? Cheers Richard

Hi all Anyone got the story on Ed (Edgar) Crook please? Don't know much about him but for his Tri-Sound release Any info much appreciated Cheers Richard
  12. Hi everyone There are several different formats of the Dynamics - Yes, I Love You Baby (Top Ten) Anyone got a feel for which of the white demos is the rarest please? Two are vinyl releases and then the West Coast one with the bars which is styrene Am I correct in thinking that the blue West Coast styrene issue is probably the rarest format of them all? Plus, were there issues for the other (non West Coast) formats or just demos? Cheers Richard

Think I agree with you on that Dave (there are a few errors or debatable facts at least in the book) Here's a scan from Popsike Cheers Richard

You got a scan of the green Pameline please (unless you mean the Outta Sight recent release)? The yellow original Pameline also came out as a sticker demo. John Manship auctioned one recently. Vault was on a green & silver issue and a white demo. Cheers Richard
  15. All that superfluous information and multiple YouTube links makes this thread pretty much unreadable on mobile You may be losing interest from people (me anyway) rather than helping yourself to sell the records Richard
  16. Regardless of price it is a fabulous record Cheers Richard
  17. Darren - Inferno I think it was Richard
  18. Man! - the mighty Dells were just awesome   Cheers Richard
  19. Premium Stuff - just the name of a class Detroit record label - and the name I believe of a radio show presented by DJ Martha Jean Steinberg Cheers Richard
  20. Unreadable in that format mate
  21. The D-Town, Wheelsville, Premium Stuff, Mah's etc.labels were extensively covered by Goldmine on a series of CDs. Fairly easily picked up on Amazon (but watch the prices!) and elsewhere: Wheelsville Wonders: https://www.amazon.co...319049999&ajr=0 Dancin' in D-Town: https://www.amazon.co...319050023&ajr=0 The Magic of Detroit: https://www.amazon.co...19050144&sr=1-9 These CDs will give you much of the catalogue across the various labels. There is some early stuff but also some of the best 'Northern' to come out of Detroit. Hope this helps Cheers Richard
  22. Some people maintain there was an original green label 45 on Groovesville - original not bootleg. Think Dave Flynn has some background on it. Dave you there? Cheers Richard
  23. Hi Eddie & Tabs Just to let you know the CDs arrived safely thanks. Brilliant stuff and I'm half way through so far. Top sounds Appreciate you guys doing the CDs for me Cheers Richard
  24. Haven't checked the dates Pete but I agree it sounds identical - especially the drums. Cheers Richard
  25. This was a missing number for many years - also released on Chysler with slightly different credits Cheers Richard
