Ronnie Mccain
Ages ago Jim Sold mine over a year ago for 250 or 225 on here I think. Even seen listed at 300 once lately. John Anderson just eBayed one - £170 or close (bit of a bargain). It's a solid £200 I reckon now - at least for a while. Should have bought it but a UK main dealer even listed at £30 not that long ago!

Mid Tempo, Will It Ever Return?
Yes please Chalky This thread has blown my mind because I didn't realise mid-tempo and beat ballads were out of vogue - as a non-venue-goer these days Cheers Richard

Hi everyone Just a reminder that the rescheduled show is on tonight 21 August at 7pm Two hours of Detroit on original vinyl, and all records costing 30 quid or less each Listen online or using the TuneIn app on your smartphone: https://www.tulip-radio.co.uk/ Cheers Richard- Mid Tempo, Will It Ever Return?
Sorry mate - will edit Richard- Mid Tempo, Will It Ever Return?
Stewart Ames - King For A Day (J&W) What about the other side 'Angelina' - is that a dancefloor reviver these days or a dancefloor killer? Cheers Richard- Mid Tempo, Will It Ever Return?
Hi K Great record - love it - you have taste Richard- Mid Tempo, Will It Ever Return?
I'm being allowed out on Friday and so am planning to play these two which I hope fit the bill as regards mid-tempo. If they turn out to be beat ballads I'm playing 'em anyway Cheers Louis Curry - You're Just Plain Nice (Reel) Toby Lark - Lots Of Heart (U.S.D.) Richard- Cheap Record - Rare Demo
Here's another one just went through eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JJ-BARNES-Please-Let-Me-In-45-RIC-TIC-promo-northern-soul-VG-/321184992199?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=gxifPrMEv0WciHzusH%252FZswFhH4Q%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc USD $577 which is about GBP £368. That's quite a bit above Manship's book price, but around what he auctioned a near-minter for a few years ago if I recall correctly. Cheers Richard- Cheap Record - Rare Demo
Here's the other side of the Sandy Hollis - "Tables Will Turn" - this is a great, great track - a real builder Cheers Richard- September Jones Acetate
Post up the track then Ady and then we can have a listen and let you know (or email it to me please) Think the song title is great! Cheers Richard- Little Stanley
Also been on eBay and recent Manship/Brady/Brown auction too I think (can't remember which). Richard- Belita Woods - Wol Again & Again & Again
Only one I've seen if it's the one that went through eBay a few months ago Nick. Mines a Karen WDJ and fancied that issue at the time, apart from the condition Cheers Richard- Unknown Floorfillier
How can it be a floorfiller if it's also unknown?- Memorabilia Found In My Loft
That Brunswick badge is cool Have you tried to get into those strides yet? Richard- Dena Barnes. - If You Ever Walked Out Of My Life. - Inferno Demo
The original demo is on styrene - has "DISC JOCKEY NOT FOR SALE" on the label both sides - "PLUG SIDE" on the "Who Am I Side" - and has a ZTSC stamp in the deadwax. Anything else with a white label is a boot. Hope this helps. Richard- ** Dean Anderson** T.n.t. Soul Show - Radio 7 Pm Tonight

Hi everyone Just a quick reminder that I will be guesting again on Dean's show again tonight 7-9pm. This time will it will be a 'cheap as chips' Detroit special If anyone can record this could they please just get in touch via PM - thanks! What with the state of the nation, the economy, the City of Detroit etc. I thought it would be an interesting challenge to play only the most affordable records - a bit of "austerity soul" So, the plan is to play around 2 hours of records, all Detroit on original vinyl, and all costing 30 quid or less each. This should also be a bit of fun as it will hopefully showcase the superb quality of even the cheapest and more available records - as well as playing some great Detroit soul and club classics on famous labels like Golden World, Ric-Tic etc. that really gave Berrry Gordy some tough competition. Cheers Richard- 45's Must Go Asap
Yes, that's good advice - if you want to sell on here folk are really looking for full details. If you're looking for a quick sale it should help too as it will cut out all the questions. Good luck! Richard- Clifford Binns On Carrie
Which one is Clifford Hamilton and which is Edward Binns then? - * Dean Anderson Show - Guest Richard Johnstone - Tonight 7Pm *
