  1. The embossed "KT" refers to the band of purchase tax was to be charged on each record, was my understanding. Was there a pressing plant in Kentish Town? EMI's plant was in Hayes. Middlesex.

    Is it a demo John?
  9. Same here on Safari and Firefox!
  10. I've seen a legitmate W/D of It's Love T. Lindsey, which was released/pressed at the same time, so Danny must exist as one, anyone got one?

Out of interest what is the going rate for this? Got a white demo knocking about.
  14. Great CD Ian, I lent it to Ady a while back, only got it back recently and strangely enough have been listen to it again this week and "Baby" being the top track for me.

Kitch also has Sandi Golden, I have both sides on tape good enough to cut from, done just before Rob Marriott sold it to Richard, but I don't like the idea of playing a carver unless it's something unissued.

    Yes
  17. Styrene+Gaz=Original 100% Yes was at 100 club Mark, record was Paramount 4 & Gene&Gary version of Baby Without You, is on refosoul on here, hope you're well mate.
  18. Yes, but, Carl by the time we've bought the book, read it, made a judgement, the immediacy of the question will have subsided! For my twopenneth I'm with te James Jamerson played on Reach Out, as ex-bass player, fingered playing is what I hear, and Caroles playing as mentioned before and on Pet Sounds is using a plectrum, and fed through the mixing desk, which gives a less harsh sound. If that makes any sense ?
  19. Most won't know Billy Soul, gotta be 10 times harder* than Taurus & Leo, have you tryed leaving it standing in warm water, (avoiding the label of course kids) to see if the residue will soften? *at time of going to press
  20. I'd be very careful mate, I'd go down the route of warm water to try to soften it, before trying anything drastic, some of the glues used in duct tape can burn into vinyl, which makes it potentially a lost cause, what is the record?
  21. My Goldmine issue has a scratched in matrix, is it legit? If I turn it 12 degrees from the left it reads ONO-NOTAGIN Value?

I've always included this one on and off, the label is a sister label to Money and the other release is Don Trotter which unfortunately is nowhere near as good.
  23. The Kent release doesn't have "The Sun Doesn't Shine On It", no bad thing in my opinion as it's quite average and hardly worth paying a high premium for, just a thought.
