Nick Palmer -saturday Night -rca
Christ-on-a-bike. This is absolute shite. Sounds like a reject from a Neil Simon film soundtrack.

Too Many Chief's-not Enough Indians
Somebody would only set up a rival night, and the Dj's would be back and forth Playing a track at each.
-
Eddie Jefferson - Psychadelic Sally
Jazzman is a 'reissue' label, and to be honest I'm not sure how official any of their releases are.

Eddie Jefferson - Psychadelic Sally
Original 45 is on Prestige and it's quite rare - You'll be looking at a coupla hundred for a minter.

Too Many Chief's-not Enough Indians
Because some of the 'Z' list DJs are their mates, and DJing at their venues. That's why....
-
Zu Zu Blues Band
Young Callum has a stock copy as well... The first I've seen apart from the one currently on eBay.
-
Tony Middleton On Jm's Auction
There was a copy of "Return To Spanish Harlem" on here - i know, cos I scooped it up...

Most Record Packages Received In One Day?
not the number of packages, but most records I've had delivered one day was 1500. Came in three large cardboard boxes - and you gussed it - 1400 of them were complete shite.
-
Checkmates - Run Ni**er Run
Colin Wood has been hammering this for the last couple of years.
-
J.m. Prices
Astounding isnt it.... Was regularly below £100 on eBay until very recently.
-
Zu Zu Blues Band
£250+ nowadays.

Rarer Issues & Demo's
It would be rude not to post the issue that matches the demo above, wouldn't it? Unfortunately not a minter but since I've got the record on three different designs of Onederful, Canadian Barry, UK President, Toddlin' Town and Midas, i think I can wait for a decent copy to come along... Collecting - it's a disease.

Ebony Jam, Frank Hutson And More

Top New Soul Artist?
Keelhaul the b'stard.

Credit Crunch
Bit of a skewed market, big weekenders - people are more likely to chance their arm at selling big figure rarities there - whereas the rest of the year they wouldn't even bother. Now if someone turns up with a box of Shrine singles at your local oldies do - then it's time to start wondering...
-
Bit Of An Oddball - Is This Worth Anything
shhhhh! don't tell anyone, but P Doggy has a Creole 12 of this as well....
-
Soul Sale
Not as far as I'm aware - it's the 'original' sleeve I'm interested in - never seen an Action sleeve of any description after collecting the label for an age....
-
Curtis - How Can I Tell Her - Us 45
Even with the nasty disco boo-boo noises - the first copy pisses all over the later issue in the sense of being a better 'club' record. Still shit though.

Montclairs On Paula
Different pressing plants. Obviously sold well enough to be promoted in different parts of the country. Nowt sinister about em, have seen styrene issues with a very pale red label, as well as vinyl with a deep red label - depended upon what color paper the pressing plants had in stock at the time.

The Vibrations - Cause Your Mine
Been under the impression that the CSP label is a legit reissue label for Epic *** Columbia Special Products. Loads of stuff re-issued on the label - all from the Epic/Okeh/Columbia labels.
-
The Vibrations - Cause Your Mine
Was this done on CSP? if so it's a legitimate reissue. If its the s.o.s one, avoid it like the plague - not only is it a boot - but the sound quality is dire.

Soul Sale
any chance of a scan of the Tom Green sleeve?
