  1. Well he could sell the sleeve and give the record away free with it as not to be seen to sell bootlegs
  2. He has just been offered £50 each for records that he got for free by Pete who already has a set of them , if people are prepared to pay for them then there is a market , he could get back most of his original stake and have the records from the pack as well or be £1000 out of pocket and keep the boots he wont play
  3. I would have thought that the next few soul packs that are sold would contain a lot of good stuff as Ian would have to make them value for money to try and get future orders and show that some people are happy with them , If the next buyers thought they were poor then it would put an end to others wanting to buy
  4. The trouble with offering part refunds on a pack is that people could go through it , take out the ones the like , can sell on or are worth more than say £10 and complain about the rest . Its a lucky dip you get some worth more than you paid , others less , some you like others you dont. With a mixed pack there will be all sorts of genres , one mans rubbish is anothers type of tune
  5. It has been said that you were offered 300 different 60s records for the damaged ones from the next incoming shipment to replace the ones that would not play properly that are usually sold for £3 not the £1 plus you were given 50 records and the set of bootlegs so that is 64 records on top of what you paid for. You could have not said anything and sold the bootlegs online to cover a large percentage of your outlay if you were not happy , If you paid via paypal you could have contacted them to see about getting your money back. I will happily take the 14 new records from you in exchange for 14 others , all originals and not ones from my soul pack and will not sell them on or play them out djing , then you wont have to look at them
  6. Could you not just swap the sleeves for any of the ones on the 300 that didnt play. 14 new sleeves cost about 70p If anyone wants to send me free records i can supply my own sleeves
  7. It depends really , If its a set played with thought and thinking of the tracks from someone who has taken the time to understand and has ripped the tunes from the original cds then i wouldnt complain as long as it wasnt an ovo night If it was a johnny come lately with the top 500 bought from ebay for a tenner playing ruby andrews moses smith frank wilson etc then i wouldnt be interested.
  8. I will try paying with monopoly money at the strip club if the ladies have fake breasts lol
  9. It is such a useful site with all the listings there. Easy to find out labels and numbers for the records i am looking for
  10. I have a full run on windy-c not quiet the same but only full label I have completed so far but have a few others on the go
  11. IS that a full run on shrine ? , looks well impressive
  12. I may be looking to move a few bits on but its been a while since i swapped or sold stuff , what is the rough ratio on deals when records are included in a swap , last time i had people wanting 90% of the cash price when they were offering records to help make up values as they didnt have enough cash I am not talking about records that I would buy at full price as if they were on my wants list if that makes sense i am on about others to sell on that the buyer adds to make up the amount hope you can understand this , thanks
  13. cant you just pay them the winning amount and postage via paypal not via ebay so it misses out the gsp costs? , after all its paypal that covers your money not ebay
  14. I dont know if its any help but the track is on the music for pleasure album uptight that would be a lot cheaper than the french ep if you just wanted the song without paying for the ep
