  1. Could you not just swap the sleeves for any of the ones on the 300 that didnt play. 14 new sleeves cost about 70p If anyone wants to send me free records i can supply my own sleeves
  2. It depends really , If its a set played with thought and thinking of the tracks from someone who has taken the time to understand and has ripped the tunes from the original cds then i wouldnt complain as long as it wasnt an ovo night If it was a johnny come lately with the top 500 bought from ebay for a tenner playing ruby andrews moses smith frank wilson etc then i wouldnt be interested.
  3. I will try paying with monopoly money at the strip club if the ladies have fake breasts lol
  4. It is such a useful site with all the listings there. Easy to find out labels and numbers for the records i am looking for

  6. IS that a full run on shrine ? , looks well impressive
  7. I may be looking to move a few bits on but its been a while since i swapped or sold stuff , what is the rough ratio on deals when records are included in a swap , last time i had people wanting 90% of the cash price when they were offering records to help make up values as they didnt have enough cash I am not talking about records that I would buy at full price as if they were on my wants list if that makes sense i am on about others to sell on that the buyer adds to make up the amount hope you can understand this , thanks
  8. cant you just pay them the winning amount and postage via paypal not via ebay so it misses out the gsp costs? , after all its paypal that covers your money not ebay
  9. I dont know if its any help but the track is on the music for pleasure album uptight that would be a lot cheaper than the french ep if you just wanted the song without paying for the ep
  10. Sorry it is dont knock me not this one. Listed on soulful kinda music and pops up on ebay but only in demo form
  11. Us bell but may be mixed up with another fuller bros on soul clock.
  12. I think.it came on bell as well

  14. Can't you send the buyer an invoice via paypal then remove the item from your shop or is it an automatic checkout thing?
  15. Davidwapples replied to a post in a topic in All About the SOUL

  20. Thanks for your help , will investigate the tracks
  21. I've just heard a version played by a mate from a tape of the well known tune by jimmy robins but this was faster and had horns on it , can anyone tell me who it is by or is it a different take etc as I couldnt help him
  22. I have a copy of this that is up for offers , it is a white demo on columbia records and its being played by Ian Levine It's a long long way to fall is vg++ with a few light surface marks but plays fine You'll remember me side is vg+ with a few marks but nothing affecting play and has a bit of dust on it , probably from being stored for a while I have not cleaned this yet , it should just clean up fine but this is not the side getting played. Link to youtube soundclip ( not the record for sale ) , up for sale or trade , any offers by pm please thank you
  23. Try to find out which types of the music you like ie 60's , northern , crossover , r&b , modern , 70's , oldies etc than ask on here for people to recommend records in that style up to your £ limit Remember not everyone knows everything and there is a lot of bulls**t spoken by some people on the scene especially if they are looking to buy a record ( its not rare , could have bought it for £10 last week , etc , trying to talk it down ) , or its a floor packer , really rare , not had this since the torch / wigan days etc when they try to sell it
  24. People use the term rare sometimes to hype up the price on ebay , first purchase should be the price guide and the bootleg guide from john manship to check originals etc popsike gives a guide of what records have sold for and also check the completed listings on ebay , buy from sellers with good feedback and dealers on here etc that you can trust , decide if you want to collect originals or reissues / bootlegs , both are ok it just depends on what you want to do with them and how much money is available. Just because a record is expensive doesn't mean its good , listen on youtube etc for most things , dont buy what your mates like as it will be your collection
  25. There is a soul clock listing on soulful kinda music , yes it was the first released version on the label and the hardest / expensive one to find , still need it for my collection of the labels releases
