hi whats the score with the 3 different designs on this label , is it different pressing plants , reissues etc as i have seen several of the tunes on all 3 designs i have just started collecting the label and was curious about the different designs incase one was reissued etc as didnt want to get caught out paying top ££ if one was reissues etc many thanks in advance

If he doesnt know what it is worth then a crafty ask seller a question with an " offer he will not be able to refuse " for his old vinyl 45 , you never know what his responce may be and you may get lucky , got a few myself this way

The poets the hustler / soul brothers holiday white demo on veep for sale , great condition , couple of tiny marks on the label and vinyl is in great condition with just a couple of light marks , plays through fine but thought i would mention the light marks incase £25 plus postage going for alot more than this on ebay and craig moorer

russoul - russ holley used to play this at club caliente and city club , i think now he has sold his copy on

anyone know why there are 3 diferent designs for mar-v-lus labels releases is it just different pressing plants etc

beware of the harold melvin "verison" that is floating about online , it is just the millie jackson version that has been messed about with on a pc and had the vocals slowed down

could you not get one of those prepaid debit cards thing , pay the money on to it like at the post office etc then link it to your paypal account

i have the first 12 issues of the soul underground fanzine from the early to mid 1990's produced by mark bicknell that i have finished reading. They contain label listings , artist features and cd and record reviews amongst other things. Anyone interested in buying / trading etc please pm me

finally got a copy of this tape as an mp3 after ages of searching and can say what a lot of brilliant tunes there are on it well worth the wait

give or take a bit , was 60 when i was looking a while back for this but then was up to 100 for no real reason if i was still buying then id be interested but cant justify at the moment

isnt the flip called please dont leave me think its on refo and def on youtube issue with 2 diff sides is about £20 more than the demo i think

there is soul in stamford at the newage social club the fleet at the fleet centre fletton in peterborough oldies and modern room club caliente in eye near peterborough rare / underplayed / colelctors type stuff see russoul or ray m s posts for playlists and reviews railway club in peterborough , lots of classic oldies etc other events pop up occasionally as well

has anyone tried the anglo american soul packs as advertised in record collector? i get the odd one or 2 packs from john powney now and again and you can specify 70s r&b funk crossover northern etc and have got a few nice bits from there

quiet alot of these were found a few years back and the market was flooded with them o nebay etc had mine for a while but struggled to get any decent money for it and ended up getting a 12" trade for it worth about £40
