i bought my copy of ray pollard soulmate when i saw it afew years ago , it cost me at least 6 times more than i usually pay max and 3 times my max amount beforehand. i have only seen one other copy on ebay and know of afew other people on here who have copies i guess stuff like the shrine records and one off acetates are ultimatly rare but even things like red and white motown demos were manufactured in about 500 before distributed , how many survived is another matter and in what condition is another question

there is an elija vocal , some onewas trying to sell acetates of this for 50 a while ago on a list i got via email but ive never heard it

wasnt a john and the wierdest sold for over a grand as an original ? and remember someone paying big bucks for a gwen and ray boot as an original

has lil major williams been released legally on a cd? i only have it on a complimentary cd from an event

it has small centre hole which indicates uk and unrelated b side so i would guess that its not an original but only my view

when did this stop being a five pound record then , paid 3 quid for mine wouldnt have thought more than a tenner ever

the era 3156 is a slow version as had this on vinyl after hearing the cd track , the one you want is 3207 on era tell you in the sleevenotes of the casion forgotten floor shakers lol , now i remember to read them before buying a tune i see listed

i wish i could have all the money i have spent on records back so i can go and spend it on some records

as for all this grading there are only 4 grades to me mint ie unplayed ex just a few marks vg looks f**ked but plays fine anything else is knackered i usually go on ex = 75 % mint , vg 40/50 ish % knackered nothing all these +++++----- mean nothing really

had one demo covered as life sentance , but it would never be released the record by the bread knives i had was found to be a carver though

some dealers will be great others just make the prices up as they go along dont believe everything dealers tell you , check on here etc as the amount of shite i bought pre internet after being told it was a big 45 great dancer etc or at a bargin price still sits in a box now dont buy records blind unless they are very cheap or you want some frisbies
