anyone in the south lincs area get a copy of the spalding guardian and look at page 23 there is a promotional feature for a northern soul night / motown night by a person called jon coupland who said that he has a copy of frank wilson he bought from an auction in america 10 years ago , but it is not pictured with his other records lol hmmmmmmmmm

also depends on if its american or uk americans dont use excellent so a vg from the usa is slightly higher grading usually i have afew 45s that look crap so graded vg but play fine but have others that sound like there is a frying pan in the background

which records that you found did you think would make it on the scene but bombed on the dancefloor ? which records that you found did you think were rubbish but went to to become floor packers?

i paid 50 for mine on ebay but finding it was a pressing / boot i sold it on for 45 a couple of years ago , just happy to get most of my money back it did jump on the deadbeat track

yes that is what i heard also heard that richard branson was bankrolling zavvi for 12 months or so after he sold it as it was the only part of virgin companys making a loss and he wanted rid , so he bankrolled it if they changed the name , now the money from him has stopped they are in the S**T , heard from a good source but not 100% sure on this
