when buying records , go for originals and only buy songs you like if you give up djing you will still have a collection of 45s you like , if you buy records just for the dance floor you may have a colection of stuff thats not your sort of stuff and be left with an expensive box of tunes dont believe the hype , there are often many records that people pay way over the top for because they are in a hurry to own them. ask around for prices and buy a guide and a bootleg guide they may be expensive to start with but will save you getting conned

sold a timi yuro for around 25 quid , put a fiver to it and bought the original lp with it on why do people pay this amount for boots things like stardust etc are readily available through the big dealers for around 5/6 quid if you asked these prices at a night youd get the piss ripped out of you

no sorry thats not me , most stuff from the states advertised as vg+ is ok but some of the uk grading is suspect. tho i did have a bad 45 from one stateside dealer who claimed vg++ and near mint vinyl but was nowhere near but he said he would give me 10 $ off any other auction item i wanted
