Has gone up a bit in price lately. Seems to sell for £30-£40 now. Money well spent in my opinion. Absolute monster 45!

Charm City
Yes I did, but it was very scratchy and had lots of clicks. I still have one copy. It was a bit strange because it took me YEARS to find a 1932 copy and then all of a sudden about a year or so back there were 4-5 copies on eBay (all in quite poor condition) from different sellers in the space of 2 months. There hasn't been any more since then, I've looked. In my experience the 1932 issue is very rare. Despite what some people claim, I think the 1879 issue was the first issue. And it was later remixed and aimed at a slightly different market and bombing even worse than the first time around.

Name That Tune
Then there's the (in my opinion far superior) Rare Pleasure version on both Cheri 7" and 12". I'm fairly sure that it was the Rare Pleasure version which was sampled for the house version a couple of years back.

Imperials - Where You Gonna Find Somebody Like Me
Was "Where You Gonna Find Somebody Like Me" by The Imperials ever issued on a US 7" or is it only available on the UK Power Exchange 7"? I just dug it out here after not having heard it for years. I had completely forgotten what an absolutely superb tune it is!

Niki Hoeki - Bobby Rush
Jim Ford's original demo recording of this tune is apparently going to be released on the forthcoming second Jim Ford anthology CD from Bear Family. It should be out in February or so. LOADS of versions of this track out there by the way.

Super Rare 12" On Philly City
You're right, that probably would bring the price down, I sure wouldn't be throwing lots of money at it if it was pressed on styrene.
-
Super Rare 12" On Philly City
Have you got a label scan?
-
Super Rare 12" On Philly City
If a 7" of this would turn up the price would go much higher than that in my opinion. £150 for the 12" is very reasonable. An absolute monster tune!

Bobby Hebb - You Want To Change Me - Philips
I used to have a mint US issue copy which sounded superb. I just listened to the soundclip I made from it and it sounds pretty much crystal clear without any hiss. So I guess there are good US copies out there although most have bad sound quality in my experience.

Ballads - Cant See Your Love
Superb tune. There are by the way two issues of this 45 on Wee with different catalogue numbers (106 and 714). The local WEE 106 release (with an Oakland, California address) is seriously hard to find.
