Need Info On Frankie Valli "beggin" Uk Release
And here is the Norway issue (which sold for $39 a couple of months after the UK issue above). The Norway 45 was issued with a picture sleeve but I've never had the sleeve. Have never seen this release on a Denmark 45, but it might very well exist.

Need Info On Frankie Valli "beggin" Uk Release
Here is an original UK copy that I sold about a year ago on eBay for $46:

Eldridge Holmes, Booted?
I think you got lucky. Would really surprise me if it has been booted. "A Time For Everything" is one of the best ever New Orleans soul tunes in my opinion, but there's not THAT much demand for it surely?

45S On Ebay: Marvelle Hampton, Sir Stan, Ann Sexton, Darrow Fletcher
There's about 2 days left on these auctions.

Freddie Chavez, How Many Records Did He Release?
Wow! Would really like to see that if you still have got a scan somewhere? My copy came without a sleeve. Sure sounds like him, and that tune is written by Freddie Chavez.

Freddie Chavez, How Many Records Did He Release?
Have only ever known of one release by Freddie Chavez ("They'll Never Know Why" b/w "Baby, I'm Sorry" on LOOK), but I just found a second 45 by him on a tiny little label called FCP out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Probably issued in the late 70s. FCP stands for Freddie Chavez Productions. Neither of the sides are uptempo dancers... but one of the sides, "I've Got It Made Now", is in my opinion a beautiful country soul beat ballad. Has almost got a Goffin/King or Chuck Jackson edge to it. Will post a clip of it below. There's no mention of this release on his website and I've never seen it listed, has anyone of you got any further info about it? Did anyone else record this tune (written by Fred Schmidt)?

Books
Perhaps not exactly what you're looking for, but I'm currently digging my way through three newly published books that I'm enjoying a whole lot for wildly different reasons. John Broven: Record Makers And Breakers - Voices Of The Independent Rock 'n' Roll Pioneers https://www.amazon.co.../dp/025203290X/ Mark "Snowboy" Cotgrove: From Jazz Funk Fusion To Acid Jazz - The History Of The UK Jazz Dance Scene https://www.amazon.co.../dp/1438973608/ Vince Aletti: The Disco Files 1973-1978: New York's Underground, Week by Week https://www.amazon.co.../dp/0956189601/ That 640+ page John Broven book is totally amazing as far as a behind the scenes look on the 50s and 60s record industry goes! The Vince Aletti book is another massive read and an amazing account of the blossoming disco scene filled with weekly articles and record charts written at the time it actually went down. Snowboy's book is decent as well, but while reading it I can't help but feel that it's slightly excluding and perhaps a better read for people who actually took part in the UK jazz dance / jazz funk scene.

Cleveland Robinson: Boy (Nosnibor)
Just so you don't buy the wrong 45... there are four different versions. Check this out for more info:
-
Chuck Cornish - A Tribute To Mohammed Ali
It's rare and hardly ever turns up. VERY undervalued at £40 in my opinion. A copy went cheap through eBay a couple of months ago, so can probably still be had at a decent price if it turns up though. The slightly "novelty" lyrics and the fact that the backing track is used on another tune out of New Orleans (with superior lyrics) probably also keeps the price down.

Uk 70's And Xover Tunes For Sale
Was indeed issued in Sweden on TAMLA MOTOWN (4E 006-94803). But it also got a regular US issue as MOTOWN 1263.
-
Laurel Aitken Mp3 Request
"Voodoo Woman" b/w "Bewildered And Blue" is on the RAINBOW label, not RIO. I only have about half of each tune as an MP3 if that is of any help? Let me know and I'll put it in refosoul if so.

The Rarest Known Micheal Jackson On Vinal? Please Read
Indeed seems to be very rare, but a copy sold for £10.70 on eBay about 2 months ago: https://cgi.ebay.com.sg/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370182683983 Probably would've gone higher if the item description had incorporated some of the stuff you wrote above.

Tunes Originally Released On Local Labels And Then Re-Released On A Motown Label
Yes, first on TAMLA, then on ARGO. Same goes for Eddie Holland "Merry-Go-Round" - first on TAMLA then UNITED ARTISTS. Herman Griffin "True Love" - first on TAMLA then COLUMBIA. Miracles "Bad Girl - first on MOTOWN then CHESS. Barrett Strong's "Money" and "Yes No, Maybe So" were both first issued on TAMLA then on ANNA.

Tunes Originally Released On Local Labels And Then Re-Released On A Motown Label
I have read that the SPIRIT issue is from 1969 (please correct me if I'm wrong). The FENTON and MOTOWN issues are from 1967.

Tunes Originally Released On Local Labels And Then Re-Released On A Motown Label
The Ones "You Haven't Seen My Love" comes to mind. Originally released on FENTON.
-
Norman Rickett/nooney Ricket
Might be worth pointing out that both sides on this disc (and the other IT release by Rickett) are written, arranged and produced by Anthony Curtis and Lonnie Lee Tolbert - the same guys who were Curtis, The Brothers on BELL and The Curtis Brothers on CAPITOL.
