a few of the earlier titles on the label (the r&b/rockabilly tinged stuff) were booted for the rockabilly crowd back in the 70s as well. for example this one is one which has a lookalike boot that looks very convincing 30+ years later..... great label though

lookalike = part of the Wheedle's Groove boxset, there are a few individual copies around minus the box & other 9 lookalike 45s.

Being a blues fan first & foremost, it was my gateway into soul music, but the article is right, not a lot of crossover between the NS scene & the blues scene in my experience. I love them both.

I like having it all in one place, bootleg guide/price guide. I never take the massive book anywhere with me though. Any bootleg guide these days is gonna be pretty out of date pretty quick, although it's not exactly difficult to pick out a new bootleg most of the time.
