Fool, Fool, Fool. Barbara Acklin
..it can't be that rare, but try as I might I cannot find a decent copy of this.It leaves an annoying hole in the Brunswick/ Babs box;) I read once that it was her first disc, not too sure about that as I think the disc on Special Agent was prior to Brunswick but I digest. Is it a scarce ' un? Cheers Jim

Royal Mail, Great Work Boys
Atrocious. Not sure about anyone else but we have a different postie everyday, turning up anywhere between 10am and 4pm. It used to be that you could establish a good relationship with the postie (thereby hopefully ensuring this sort of crap was avoided). Those days I fear, are long gone. It's just a big gamble now. Jim.

Wigan Wigan Wigan...blah blah ffing blah ..I suppose nothing happened in the 80s and 90s then.!? No mention at all of the longest running allnighter in the world, which has been more influential in the last 30 plus years than the bloody casino ever was. My two penneth. Jim

Melba Moore - Magic Touch
I vividly remember watching the 'Old Grey Whistle Test' when they did the bit on Northern ( about 85 ish and quite a good piece actually) with a youthful Ady and Roger walking down Carnaby St or somesuch and then Guy spinning it covered up and it totally blew me away then. Still does now. Along with 'Its Torture ' its one of those discoveries that helped to blow the myth that 'Northern' was finished just because the bloody Casino had shut ;) Jim.

Chess Re Issue Lp Advice On Price Please
Certain Kent albums in particular have lead me a merry dance over the years... eg, Soul Cities, Soul from the Deep South, Stand in for love. oh, and of course the promo from 1996 with Art Gentry on;) Jim.

Chess Re Issue Lp Advice On Price Please
Not so sure about that Benji. A great deal of those albums are the best part of 30years old now, trying to complete the Kent series for example from scratch may not be as easy ( or as cheap) as you may believe my friend;) ATB Jim

Long live these guys, really great, unsung heroes or what? After too many years of hearing their music thru less than sophisticated systems in less than sophisticated venues its great to see them in their prime Jim
