Has Anyone Seen Paul Weller Or Marc Almond At A Soul Event?
I met steve Davies in a Sheffield record shop during the World Championships in the Eighties. He bought so many records he had a guy with him called "Botley" to carry them all. He didn't say much to anybody, but his purchasing did the talking for him ! Regards Ricardo

Jesse Davis Says Hi
Just like to say that I met Jesse Davis in 2004, and he was a great person, not only with regard to his own recordings, but also the L.A. scene in general (Past & Present). I do hope that some of his past recordings could see the light of day here in the UK. Good on you Jesse, your a "Diamond". Best Regards Ritchie Andrew.

Both sides are excellent Detroit mid-tempo. I would not sell it for less than £250, as its not an easy record to find. Regards Ritchie.

Ian Levine On Mary Fox Soul Show
Just in case anybody doesn't know, Ian Levines nickname in the mid Seventies was ENA after the Coronation St character Ena Sharples. Some of the factual information about "names & places" he mentioned was interesting. Unfortunatly the usual.... I discovered northern soul / Kiosk in Blackpool .....etc scenerio was inevitable I suppose. No one person is bigger than the "Scene", and I dont think Ian Levine has embraced that fact yet. Regards Ritchie
