I think there are 2 different boots of this Mine is the first one .See thru vinyl and the label is a straightfoward copy The other ones came out at the same time as a batch of other look-alikes (Narbay, Holly St. James, Patrice Hollaway etc)- Northern Doowop

Again probably not strictly soul but she did a couple of covers Her name was Carol Keyes I think she came from the North East and did a version of You Beat Me To The Punch on Fontana & I seem to think that she did a cover of One In A Million but I can't remember the label- REMEMBER THOSE COVER-UPS??

Is there anyone who can explain why some of the records issued wit a ZTSC matrix sometimes are macine stamped ,while others are simply scratched into the dead wax? My copy of the Profiles "Take a Giant Step is scatched in and unusually is made out of vinyl instead if the usual styrene. Edwin Starr S.O.S is machine stamped on the A side while I Have Faith in You is scratched in. Any info on these matrix stamps would be greatfully appreciated- record wanted
