  1. Sorry , isnt the B side called "This is my confusion"? I have a couple of copies of this somewhere. I also have another 45 by them but cant remeber what it is called, will try and dig it out.
  2. I know, it was on for twice as much last week. Being sold by a guy from Stroud.
  3. There's a 12" on ebay at the moment, ending in a couple of days.
  4. The Adorables - Deep Freeze - Golden World Barbara Mercer - Nobody Loves You Like Me - Golden World The Precisions - Why Girl - Drew David Ruffin - You Can Come Right Back To Me - Motown Promo
  5. Talking of ploughing through pages of "boots" on ebay. There is now an Impressions - You Been Cheating/Tams - Be Young on an ABC look-a-like in the latest batch to appear? Why would records this common need to be booted?
  6. Reluctant to use the word "Celebrity" but I am sure 70's Coventry City player Mickie Ginn was a soul boy and had a decent collection. Why I remember this I have no idea!!
  7. I still have my Inter City Soul Club - Funky Dancer patch some where, not that I was!
  8. I also have a multi-coloured DJ copy. $20 off e-bay ages ago!!
  9. I need a copy of Voices Issue 5 if you have one to sell Kevin
  10. Santa bought me: Manships UK price guide, Gil Scott Heron - Ghetto Style CD and the Explosivos 7' Latin Soul Box Set. Plus tomorrow I am going to make Martin Koppell a couple of $100 richer, same as I do every year.
  11. Got mine from Adey Pierce at Cotswold Records. He may have some left.
  12. "i'm amazed someone hasn't done a tv documentary about record collectors, whether us or some other breed of nutjob" They have shown a documentary on Record Collecting here in Canada. I cant tell you what it was called or the guys name but you couldnt have picked a bigger load of nutters to focus on. They didnt seem to specialise like we do, but they all had rooms full of vinyl and to a man they were all just balancing nicely on the edge of insanity - great viewing. I have since met on of the guys who collects Country and has a warehouse full of the stuff and sells at all the local fairs.

Isnt there a blue label original as well? I had the red re-issue.
  14. Because there are dicks out there that will pay it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. Picked up a Canadian copy of Ghost In My House last week. Any body got a current price? B side has a red Promotion Copy stamp on it? Then I realised I have never seen a Canadian Motown promo before? Is this a promo? Probably not in vogue at the moment but dont think I have seen one of these for a long long time, if at all.
  16. I had a copy of the Choker Campbell 45 last year and didnt rate it all, I think it went for $5 on ebay, if that.

Somebody on here was asking for the Polydor self titled album. I played it at the weekend and it is a great mix of 70's dancers and ballads - recommended.
  18. Not really in the mis-filed sections but I do have a little routine when I get to work, get a coffee, log in to ebay and do a "buy it now search" in the R&B section. I have picked up Beloyd - $24.99, Arthur Freeman - $30 and Willie Hutch - $25 in the last 12 - 18 months!!!, plus lots of nice cheapies.
  19. Oops, spot the deliberate mistake. Should be Tony Middleton - Paris Blues!!! Oh well that was a waste of time, only 2 responses and they never made an offer. Off to the "Bay"
  20. It was on there yesterday, I always do a search of the "buy it now" stuff when I get to work.
  21. Sorry, should have said that Steinways has writing on label - listed side. Kevin
  22. Somebody a week or so ago was talking about offering 45's on the Guild before putting them on Ebay. I intend putting these on tomorrow morning approx. 8:00 Canadian time ( 1:00 UK ) so best offers before then. All Canadian and come in company sleeves and are in vg+ condition. Dean Parrish - Paris Blues - Polydor - Ever seen a Canadian issue? Linda Lloyd - Breakaway - Columbia Jerry Naylor - City Lights - Sparton promo The Steinways - You Been Leading Me On - Sparton
  23. Just PM'ed you re. Jimmy Ruffin album.
  24. The E.G. Smith is an uptempo version of the Spencer Davis hit. I have sold a couple for $5 - $10 in the past. I have seen it listed in a Guy Hennigan set list somewhere in the past
